Giveaway- Date Night Jar

Ok! I know I said that I was going to start my giveaway week on Sunday but I was having so much fun with my family that I didn't even turn on the computer. So I'm starting my giveaway now.

Today's giveaway is on of my Date Night Jars. There are over 70 different dates in the jar. To enter the giveaway, you have to be a follower of my blog and to get another entry comment on this post and tell me one of your favorite dates. No entries after midnight. I'll post the winner tomorrow!

  1. Love it. A fun date that Matt and I did was we went to the bookstore and had a "book hunt". I stole the idea from the dating divas. We had 6 things we had to find and share with each other. 1) A magazine article your spouse would be interested it.
    2) A children's book with special momory or meaning.
    3) A book that shows somewhere you want to travel.
    4) A recipe you would like to make for your spouse.
    5) A poem that tells how you feel about your spouse.
    6) wild card...the one who didn't plan the date got to decide on something for us to find. We looked at the game section for a game we would like to play together.

It was lots of fun. We laughed a lot and found out how well we know each other in some areas...
Cheap, fun, something anyone can do.

  2. OOO.. pick me!!!
Honestly Alberto and I don't ever do dates. We never have ideas of things to do.
We have gone to a movie before or the usual Shopping at Wal-Mart. We aren't very creative I guess.

  3. My favorite date night was going out for sushi, and then going for walks in the rain. The walks in the rain have taken a back seat lately, but when Brayden gets older we will go again.

  4. I think one of my favorite dates was when carving a pumpkin or two and then door-bell-ditching them to people after they were all carved with a lit candle inside. It was quite challenging and highly entertaining. =)

  5. I really need a date night jar. When was the last time we went on a date. Does playing with the kids in nursery count? Justin and I used to "DATE" go out a lot more before we had kids and Justin went back to school. We played raquetball a lot. Justin was always good about planning fun weekends and dates for us. Once he kidnapped me from and had made arrangements with my boss without me knowing. He took me to lunch, the temple and then to a bed and breakfast. Since having kids and Justin in school are dates have included after the kids go to bed eating ice cream, watch a movie, holding hands on the couch, registering for classes, watching a movie and having Wii challenges.
